Lilly's Recital

In the car on our way to recital. Lilly eating her lunch and not making a mess of her make up. That is not an easy task to do.

Lilly during her tap routine. This was actually rehearsal because we are not allowed to take pictures during the recital.

Lilly's favorite move.

Yup she is the short one!! At recital everyone was asking which side of the stage she would be on. I kept telling everyone that they would be able to tell which one was her but they didn't believe me. When see marched out everyone cracked up laughing.

Lilly at her tumble rehearsal with her partner Abby. This class consisted of 4-6 year olds so she doesn't look as short.

Lilly was one of four girls in her class that can do a back bend. She was so proud of herself.

Mother's Day at Massabesic Lake

Alan, Lilly, Drew and I went for a bike ride along the trails of Massabesic lake on Mother's Day. It was a beautiful day. Lilly did a great job navigating the trails with training wheels and all. This was Drew's first bike ride (he rides in a seat behind me) and he seemed to enjoy it.

Drew's First Birthday

Wow!! I can't believe that it has been a year already, how the time has flown. Our Birthday Prince didn't care for his crown very much. Drew was so good throughout his whole party but definitely crashed after.

Alan just couldn't resist getting Drew his very first car. I am not sure which one was more excited. Drew did a great job steering the car and only needed minimal assistance. It must be some part of the "y" chromosome.

Poor Olivia, Drew wouldn't even give her a turn. He kept pushing the power button and then dragging the rest of him with it.

Nana and Papa brought over Nana's rocking chair from when she was a little girl. Drew loves the chair and will sit and rock in it for a couple of minutes.

Thank goodness Lilly loves to open presents, because once Drew got a look at his new play table he had no interest in anything else.

Drew loved the candle on his cake, he kept trying to grab it. He was unable to blow out his candle so he had a little help.

Drew was unsure what to do with his cake in the beginning but once he got a taste of it he dove right in. What a mess he made. He needed a whole new outfit.

Hamming it up for the camera. Drew loves to have his picture taken. If he sees you trying to take pictures he always stops what he is doing so he can smile at the camera.
